The Longmont Hebrew School is an independent Hebrew school for girls and boys.  It teaches them about their Jewish heritage and prepares them for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah.  We welcome Jewish and interfaith families.  Student ages range from 5 to 13.  We hold our classes in Longmont on Mondays after school.

The Longmont Hebrew School teaches Judaic studies, Hebrew, Torah, current events, and history on a 2-year rotating curriculum.  We also teach conversational Hebrew so our students learn the alef-bet, basic reading, and functional conversational Hebrew.

We offer a B'nai Mitzvot class for girls and boys who are preparing for their Bar/Bat Mitzvot, and we encourage our students to personalize their Bar/Bat Mitzvot experience.

In addition, we perform a mitzvah project each year.  And, we have one to two family celebrations each year, filled with games and fun.  We also create a Chanukah service each year for the Longmont Shabbat Group.
